The system that already knows how an African property runs.
Built in Africa, for African properties — fiscalised and mobile-money ready in Kenya today. Deployed one-to-one: your database, your domain, your data, under a licence from us, with no commission on your bookings, ever.
Imported software makes you do the local part by hand.
Three things break the moment a global PMS lands at an African lodge. We built the system around them instead of bolting them on afterwards.
The invoice
It is a legal document, not a printout.
VAT and tourism levies apply in a fixed order, on the right base, and the result has to be fiscalised — signed by the tax authority with a control unit number and QR code, as eTIMS requires in Kenya. Systems that treat this as a tax field leave your accountant rekeying invoices at month end.
The rate
You do not have one rate. You have nine.
Resident, non-resident, regional, corporate, tour operator — each with child bands, pensioner rates, seasons and agent allotments. A single room-price field pushes the front desk into a spreadsheet, and the spreadsheet is where the money leaks.
The property
A property is more than rooms.
Game drives on a shared vehicle fleet. Boat transfers. A conference with a function sheet and a setup style. A gate that has to know whether the guest has settled. Room-only software leaves every one of those on paper or WhatsApp.
Money & compliance
Every unit of revenue, from quote to fiscal receipt.
The tax engine is the spine of the system, not a settings screen. Rate resolution, promotions, discounts, admin fees and the statutory levies are computed in one place, in minor units — so the invoice, the fiscal submission, the receipt, the statement and the revenue report cannot disagree.
KESTZSUGXRWFNGNZARUSDEUR
eTIMS — full VSCU
Invoices signed locally and transmitted to the tax authority with the control unit number and QR printed on the document. Credit notes and voided invoices handled the way KRA expects.
M-Pesa, cards and bank
Daraja STK push for M-Pesa, plus Paystack and Pesapal for international cards — behind one payment interface, so an overseas guest is a first-class payer, not a workaround.
Deposits, refunds, receipts
Deposit schedules, part-payments, refunds with their own audit trail, branded PDF invoices and receipts, and automatic reconciliation sweeps against the gateways.
Debtors and statements
Aged debtor ledger per customer and per company, statements you can send, withholding tax on corporate invoices, and books that tie back to the payments.
It reaches your accountant
A QuickBooks Online connector posts summary journal entries — revenue by department, levies, VAT and accounts receivable — so nobody retypes the month.
Operations
Rooms, drives, function rooms, the gate.
Everything bookable is a resource on one availability model — a vehicle fleet, a boma and a suite are all protected from double-booking by the same guard.
Reservations
Enquiry → quote → pro-forma → invoice → completed, with waitlist, split stays, moves, copies and a full audit trail on every edit.
Five calendars
Monthly grid with drag-to-move, weekly, availability search, a resource planner across every asset, and a three-step checkout.
Rates that match your rack
Per person, per room, occupancy-based, max plus and occupancy plus — crossed with resident, non-resident, corporate and tour-operator categories, generated across seasons.
Activities & timeslots
Game drives, walks and boat trips — capacity pooled across a shared fleet, sold per seat, with a live departures monitor.
Events, tickets & vouchers
Ticketed events with scanning at the door, gift vouchers with balances, and certificates.
Function sheets & groups
Conferences and weddings with setup styles, department prep lists, group programmes, and an organiser link so the client fills in their own detail.
Check-in, gate, housekeeping
Guest check-in on a tablet that works with no signal, a gate view that confirms settlement before the barrier lifts, and a live housekeeping and maintenance board.
Guest communication
SMS, WhatsApp with a two-way inbox, email and push — triggered at booking, pre-arrival, payment and after the stay, consent-gated to the Data Protection Act.
Guest-facing screens are designed for a 360-pixel phone on a 3G signal, and the check-in app keeps working when the link to the camp drops — submissions queue on the device and sync when the signal returns. Currency, timezone, date format and address fields follow the market you operate in — KES, EAT, DD/MM/YYYY and counties out of the box in Kenya.
Demand
Direct bookings first. Channels second.
Your own booking pages
Public booking URLs for accommodation, activities, events and vouchers — priced by the same engine as the front desk, paid by M-Pesa or card, with no commission to anyone.
QR codes that book
Printable codes for the reception desk, the room folder, a brochure or a poster, each pointing at a specific room type, activity or event.
OTA channel manager
In certification
Rates, availability and restrictions out to the OTAs; reservations, modifications and cancellations back into the same calendar. Delivered through HyperGuest, in certification now.
Venue Link network
Properties running HodariPMS can list and cross-refer to one another — a camp sends an overflow guest to a partner lodge and both sides see it.
Guest portal
A private link that lets a guest see their booking, download the invoice and pay the balance — no account, no password.
And it opens up
Every action is a documented API operation with an OpenAPI spec, protected by tokens you issue and revoke yourself, plus signed webhooks. The optional AI module is licence-gated and ships after your system is live.
Control
What you are not carrying any more.
The thing

On a vendor's shared cloud, in a country you did not choose.
Your deployment, your database, your control.

Start here
Deployment is a project we run, not a download.
We stand up your instance, load your property as it actually operates, connect your tax and payment credentials, and train the people who will use it.
Step 1
Discovery
Rooms, rate cards, activities, tax registration, bank and M-Pesa details, who does what.
Step 2
Provision
Your deployment, your domain, your database — configured with your resources, rates and users.
Step 3
Connect
Fiscalisation, mobile money, card gateway, SMS and WhatsApp sender, email domain — tested end to end with live documents.
Step 4
Train & go live
Front desk, accounts and management trained on their own data, then a supported first month.
The system
$100per property / month
Every module, your own deployment, the updates and support. No commission on your bookings, ever.
AI add-ons
$50per property / month
Licence-gated and optional. Switched on after your system is live and stable, never before.
Additional properties in the same group are licensed individually, and a tailored proposal follows the discovery call.
